I've been a HUGE fan of the Chinese classic Journey to the West(JTTW) ever since my English teacher made me write a paper on one of the chapters.

My little brother introduced me to the lego show Monkie Kid, which is a sequel to JTTW and I believe an Anime.

There's so many refrences to the story, new takes on old characters, reincarnation cycles, and just that super classic cartoon violence. If you're able, you should really check it out.

And if you're already a fan, who's your favorite character and why? Mine's either Macaque(God bless, his English VA) or Red Son(Should be Red BOY but whatever that's a rant).
